Girls Can Tell is the (online) place to get “awesome housewares for geeks and everyone else”, as artist Sara Selepouchin says.
Clever and interesting tovels and coasters, notebooks and napkins, bags and bottle openers with one-of-a-kind colorful prints will make your house (and kitchen, and life) rock.

:: Why and when did you started Girlscantell? I started Girls Can Tell about five years ago as a hobby, because I found working in architecture wasn’t enough of a creative outlet for me.
:: What inspires your work? My work is inspired by my years and years of architectural drawing classes, and my love of housewares and other useful things.

:: Who is your ideal buyer? My ideal buyer likes good design and has a sense of humor.
:: What is your favorite place in NYC and why? My favorite place in New York City is probably the Highline, because I did a lot of studies and studio projects for that site in school, and it’s amazing to me that something incredible has actually been built on the site since then.

:: What’s the first thing that pops into your head when you think about NYC and why? I think subways, since I feel like so much of your time in New York is spent getting from one place to another.

:: What’s the most incredible or funny thing that happened to you (or to someone you know) while in NYC? I can’t think of any great stories for this question, but if I could borrow one funny life-experience from a movie, I would go for Kevin’s adventures in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. That kid frolicking around NYC makes me laugh pretty much every time.
