SANFRANSISCO – Today in San Francisco: Leidy Castro
Leidy Castro was born in Colombia and then moved to California several years ago. Leidy enjoys wine tasting, going to the beach, the beautiful views of the Bay Area, and learning about different cultures.
But aside from all this Leidy is also a true art lover who loves to paint, draw, and photograph people. Through LeidysIntuition, she sells lovely women’s accessories for all occasions.
:: Why and when did you started Leidys Intuition? I have to say that the idea of starting my own business came from my family and closest friends. I’ve always had a creative mind and a passion for the latest trends in fashion. Because of that, I used to create unique pieces to give away on special occasions to my loved ones and they were the ones that believed in me and pushed me to create what is today Leidy’s Intuition
:: Where do you get your inspiration from? The truth is that I can get inspired by the smallest thing- even in a rainy day. Colors, textures, scents are all inspirational to me. I also like to keep up with fashion and therefore I like to glance at magazines and watch TV shows.
:: Who is your ideal buyer? My ideal buyer will be anyone that appreciates all the love and hard work that I put into every piece that I make. I love when people admire my work and I am proud of delivering unique pieces to any type of buyer.

:: What is your favorite place in San Francisco? I love everything about San Francisco! But if I have to pick my favorite place that will be Pier 39. Pier 39 is where all the young talent meets. You can go and listen to music, enjoy the view and everything is really spectacular.
:: Do you think San Francisco can still be considered the place-to-be for young creatives? San Francisco is and will always be the place-to-be for young creatives. Artists from all over the world come to San Francisco to be inspired by the city and to fulfill their dreams.

:: Where do you shop in San Francisco? Three places: Powell street, Union Square, and Powell street again!
:: If I say Italy, you say…? Food, romance, and…fashion!
